The below listed options are available on most Sonix™ systems. What options are recommended depends on the type and nature of the inspection applications. Contact your local Sonix™ representative to discuss which options are right for you.

Transducers
|
A variety of transducers ranging from 5 to 260 MHz are available on Sonix™ systems. What transducer is best for a particular application is not always a straight forward decision. With the assistance of Sonix' Applications Lab, the correct set of transducers can be determined. If you inspection needs change some time down the road, additional transducers can be purchased. Some Sonix™ systems come with a standard set of transducers.

Simultaneous Pulse-Echo / Through Transmission
(PETT)
|
To increase throughput, the PETT feature (US Patent #6,032,534) allows for pulse-echo C-scans and through transmission images to be acquired with one pass of the part. This feature can also be offered as an upgrade to any field unit, although additional software/hardware may be required.

Ultra-High Frequency Inspection Kit
|
Most Sonix™ systems can be upgraded to offer ultra-high frequency imaging. The kit includes an ultra-high frequency tranducer, remote pulser pre-amplifier and all necessary cabling and software. This option comes standard on some Sonix™ system. Additional hardware or software upgrades may be necessary to take full advantage of the UHF Kit. |

Dual-Monitor Display
|
Utilizes two monitors to display the image and software controls to maximize screen real-estate and screen resolution. Only available on the UHR Wafer and Quantum350 systems.
